CANOEING DAY TRIP IN SOUTH LAPLAND

Finland is called the land of thousands of lakes. We organise guided canoeing trips in the area of ​​Syöte National Park. We paddle peacefully and safely in lake or river landscapes in the middle of pure and fresh Finnish nature. Easy canoeing trip is suitable for whole family. Nice picnic lunch is included in price!


Your guide is a Finnish adventure and canoe instructor, wilderness chef who has completed the NOLS Wilderness Medical First Aid course. Welcome to enjoy this safe and unique outdoor adventure with a professional nature guide in Northern Finland!

  • Place: Syöte National Park, Pudasjärvi 

  • Starting point: Syöte Nature Centre, Erätie 1, Syöte

  • Availability: In summer between 1.6.-30.9. on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11:00 according to the weather conditions. The tour is done on the basis of pre-booking.

  • Guaranteed departure: --

  • Duration: Approximately 4 hours

  • Number of participants: Min 2, max 8 persons

  • Price: 100 €/person. Minimum billing: 200 €
    The prices include the value-added tax.

  • Price includes: Guide services, kayak/open canoe, life vest, paddle, picnic lunch

  • Equipment: Participants have their own outdoor clothing due to the weather. Please ask the whole list of equipment after booking.

  • By an additional cost: Transport from Syöte Visitor Centre or hotels in Syöte area to the lake

  • Supplements: Canoeing clothing set 30 â‚¬/person/tour

  • Tour level: Moderate. Participants are required to have a normal basic fitness. Swimming skills are obligatory.

  • Insurance: We require participants to have their own insurance for  outdoor activities in Finland.
