The Family Christmas Holiday in South Lapland is arranged for families who want to share an unforgettable nature-based Christmas time together, eat well, and relax! 

You will find the spirit of Christmas inside Finnish nature.

This exciting seven-day holiday includes all the transfers, three tasty meals a day, accommodation in a hotel or a cosy log house, activities, and guidance in Syöte National Park area. 

The Christmas holiday in South Lapland includes a lot of traditional Finnish Christmas food delicacies, singing Christmas songs in the cabin, guided skiing and snow shoeing tours, optional Northern Lights tours with headlamps on, baking Christmas cookies together and a great husky-safari to the snow-white forest!

The accommodation is arranged in the KIDE Hotel or our beautiful Taigalampi log cabin, in twin/bunk bedrooms with all the modern facilities and a warm and cosy atmosphere. The sauna is warm for your family in the evenings.

Breakfasts will be served in the restaurant or in the cabin, lunch soup, and sandwiches on the daily trips. Delicious Christmas dinner is served in the restaurant or from the cabin buffet table.

  • Meals: Full board. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the price.

  • Accommodation: In KIDE Hotel in twin rooms or in a log cabin, in twin/bunk bedrooms 

  • Price includes: Return transport from Oulu/Kuusamo/Rovaniemi Airport to Syöte, activities due to the program, guidance, transport to the places of activities, meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), accommodation, sauna.

  • The price doesn’t include flights.

  • Equipment: Participants have their own outdoor clothing due to the weather. Please ask for the whole list of equipment after booking.

  • Equipment included in the price: All the special outdoor equipment for activities.

  • By an additional cost: Single room 400 €/holiday (when available). Winter clothing set, mittens, headwear, boots 90 €/set/person/tour.

  • Supplements: Aurora hunting by car 35 €/person, extra night in cabin or hotel 220 €/person. Transport Kuusamo/Rovaniemi 129 € / car.

    Extra nature guide for groups less than twelve persons costs 375 €/day.

  • Tour level: Moderate. Participants are required to have normal basic fitness.

  • Insurance: We require participants to have their own insurance for outdoor activities in arctic weather conditions in Finland.
